An impressive pair of French Sevres Porcelain Ormolu Mounted hand painted Portraits of Louis XV1 and Marie Antoinette, late Nineteenth Century.
Each oval portrait finely painted within a gilded surround on Celeste blue ground and mounted on a lavish cast bronze dore mount.
Both pieces have been later professionally re-framed on elegant gilt wood frames, the original woven fabric has also been replaced. These pieces are not glazed.
Condition: Good condition with no restoration to porcelain, light wear to gilding on porcelain.
